Crisp alternatives, with real prices

These are the live chat tools we'd look at if we were leaving Crisp, with what each costs for one website and what each is good at. We make one of them, Pidge, so read our part with that in mind.

Prices in US dollars, checked on 16 October 2026 on each vendor's own pages. Sources are linked at the end. Prices change, so check before you buy.

What three people on one website pay

Month-to-month prices, for a small team answering chat on one site:

Ad blockers

AdGuard's widget filter blocks chat widgets loaded from their vendor's domain. On 16 October 2026 we ran each tool's standard script URL through the same 14 filter lists we test Pidge against. These were blocked, all by the AdGuard widget filter:

The scripts of Intercom (widget.intercom.io), LiveChat (cdn.livechatinc.com) and Chatwoot Cloud (app.chatwoot.com) weren't blocked by any of the 14 lists. Pidge loads from your own subdomain and wasn't blocked either. We checked the script addresses only, not rules that hide page elements.

Pidge

Our own. A chat widget, a shared inbox and an inbox for your phone. It takes Crisp's $crisp.push calls, its main REST paths and its webhook format, so code written for Crisp keeps working when you change the URL. The script on every page is 4.2 KB.
